Bacon Wrapped Backstraps       (submitted by WKcoalminer)

Cut backstrap into 1 1/2 inch thick slices. Pin a piece of thickly sliced bacon around each piece with toothpicks. sprinkle each side of the venison with pepper and salt, then press into the meat.  Basting sauce: 1/2 stick butter salt, black pepper, garlic and oregano. Wine sauce: 2 cups red cooking wine 3 tablespoons grape jelly. Get the grill sizzling hot cook for about 5 minutes on each side.  Bring the wine sauce to a full boil, once its thick, pour over the cooked venison.

So, this blond, brunette, and redhead hunter are in a hunting contest.  The redhead comes back to camp with a nice 8 point and the blond asks...how'd you get such a big deer.  Simple says the redhead.. follow big tracks, get big deer. 

So the brunette goes out and comes back with a monster 12 point with droptines.  The blonde asks, how'd you get that freak nasty monster?  Simple, follow really big tracks, get really big deer. 

So, the blond goes out, the hours pass by, and finally the blond arrives back in camp all bandaged up and in a wheelchair.  What happened to you the others ask?  Well, says the blond, I followed some big tracks and got hit by a train!!!!!
